Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Crossover Ministries based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
Revelation
Revelation is available to all through faith in God's gift of undeserved favor through Christ's sacrifice on the Cross. The knowledge of God... the love of Christ... the mind of Christ...the face of Christ... and the radiance of the Father's glory are already provided to us and are fully available now to all who will simpy see and believe.
Mankind
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image. Sin had separated mankind from God. Christ removed sin on the Cross, thus removing the separation between God and man. By faith in Christ alone, this gift provides the basis for and open and unhindered relationship with God. The Mosaic Law and it's curse has been removed at the Cross through Christ. The gift of righteousness and the blessing given to Abraham are now the privilege of every true believer.
The Fall
Adam and Eve through their disobedience, brought Sin unto all mankind. Since mankind cannot reach the righteousness of God through will-power, determination and zeal, God has provided His righteousness and all the blessings that follow through faith in Christ alone.
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration, through faith, by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
The Church
The Church is the world-wide body of Christ that will rise to manifest the glory of God to this world as the Church turns away from it's dependency on self-righteousness and embraces the free gift of God's righteousness and all of the gifts, blessings and manifest glory that come with it.
Ressurection
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
